About Me
I am Samantha Redd, I am currently a resident in Clinical Mental Health Counseling ( LPC-R). I hold a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Regent University and a Master of Arts in Language and Communication. I am also Board Certified Master Mental Health Coach (BCMMHC) from the American Association of Christian Counselors and possess certifications in both Mental Health Coaching and Youth Mental Health Coaching. My training in emergency trauma response has significantly enhanced my professional development, equipping me with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide support to individuals navigating various life challenges and crises.
Originally from Thailand, I immigrated to the USA, bringing a deep-seated passion for supporting individuals in their acculturation process, navigating life transitions, and healing from trauma. I emphasize multiculturalism and diversity in my practice, believing that every individual’s story is unique and valuable.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am a passionate advocate for destigmatizing mental health through awareness and education. I actively engage in initiatives to promote mental health literacy and break down barriers to accessing mental health resources.

My Approach
In my sessions, we work together to tailor an approach specific to you—a plan that meets your goals and character. I meet you where you are, and together, we explore and grow. My ethical principles align with the ACA’s five principles of ethical behavior: Autonomy, Beneficence, Non-maleficence, Justice, and Fidelity.
My counseling approach is client-centered, characterized by compassionate listening and emotional validation. I strive to foster emotional exploration and employ a culturally sensitive therapeutic approach to create a safe space for my clients. Together, we tailor an approach that meets your specific goals and character, meeting you where you are and exploring your journey together.
I utilize evidence-based practices such as dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), and Christian counseling. Through these methods, I empower individuals to develop coping strategies, enhance self-awareness, and cultivate resilience in adversity.
I believe that gaining self-awareness and understanding our values and goals allows us to reach our full potential. Let’s embark on this journey together, fostering growth and healing.
